Anti Spam Policy

iSendit believe’s unsolicited communications such as junk faxes and spam email create an unnecessary expense for the recipients and an unwanted burden on our communication distribution resources. We do not actively monitor and cannot be responsible for communications processed through our services. The intention of our communication distribution technology is for the purpose of sending communications to parties that have a need and desire to receive them. We reserve the right to interrupt any communications being sent in violation of our policies.

Spam: Spam is unsolicited commercial email and is also known as UCE. The United States Federal Act became effective in January, 2004 and preempts all state laws. The law is specific about requirements to send commercial email and empowers the Federal government to enforce the law. The penalties can include a fine and/or imprisonment for up to 5 years.

Compliance Assistance: iSendit is not responsible for enforcing Anti-Spam compliance or policing such laws. However, iSendit may provide resources to for you to refer to so you can stay anti-spam compliant.
iSendit may also incorporate special technology into its email broadcast service in order to help you meet compliance requirements.

Hotlinks: iSendit enables you to embed hotlinks in your emails so that recipients may opt-out of future communications from you.

AOL White List: iSendit is AOL White Listed and uses automated technology to maintain this status. Our AOL White List Support Technology will automatically opt-out users from receiving future emails from You and other customers that use our service if they report emails originating from our facility as Spam or Junk Email.

Email Header and From Address Information: Further, iSendit automatically places your “From” email address and name into each email we send on your behalf of you. iSendit will not falsify a “from” email address. Therefore, your email header information is correct because it is pre-set for you by iSendit.

Reverse DNS and Non Use of Relay Servers: iSendit does not use relay servers to transmit your email. iSendit individually addresses each email you we send on your behalf. iSendit servers utilize reverse Domain Name Server pointer technology so that receiving email servers can verify the existing of the sending domain and accept your emails.

Email Opt-Out Support: iSendit recommends that you include Opt-out links in every email you send. If needed, we can provide you with opt-out links and manage the opt-out process in an automated fashion.

Permission Based List Creation: iSendit can provide professional services to assist you in the creation of permission based recipient lists.

Automated Virus Scanning: While traversing through our processing and email sending servers, your emails are scanned several times for known virus signatures and possible viruses before being sent to your recipient list.
