iSendit believe’s unsolicited communications such as junk faxes and spam email create
an unnecessary expense for the recipients and an unwanted burden on our communication
distribution resources. We do not actively monitor and cannot be responsible for
communications processed through our services. The intention of our communication
distribution technology is for the purpose of sending communications to parties
that have a need and desire to receive them. We reserve the right to interrupt any
communications being sent in violation of our policies.
Spam: Spam is unsolicited commercial email
and is also known as UCE. The United States Federal Act became effective in January,
2004 and preempts all state laws. The law is specific about requirements to send
commercial email and empowers the Federal government to enforce the law. The penalties
can include a fine and/or imprisonment for up to 5 years.
Compliance Assistance: iSendit is not responsible
for enforcing Anti-Spam compliance or policing such laws. However, iSendit may provide
resources to for you to refer to so you can stay anti-spam compliant.
iSendit may also incorporate special technology into its email broadcast service
in order to help you meet compliance requirements.
Hotlinks: iSendit enables you to embed hotlinks
in your emails so that recipients may opt-out of future communications from you.
AOL White List: iSendit is AOL White Listed
and uses automated technology to maintain this status. Our AOL White List Support
Technology will automatically opt-out users from receiving future emails from You
and other customers that use our service if they report emails originating from
our facility as Spam or Junk Email.
Email Header and From Address Information:
Further, iSendit automatically places your “From” email address and name into each
email we send on your behalf of you. iSendit will not falsify a “from” email address.
Therefore, your email header information is correct because it is pre-set for you
by iSendit.
Reverse DNS and Non Use of Relay Servers:
iSendit does not use relay servers to transmit your email. iSendit individually
addresses each email you we send on your behalf. iSendit servers utilize reverse
Domain Name Server pointer technology so that receiving email servers can verify
the existing of the sending domain and accept your emails.
Email Opt-Out Support: iSendit recommends
that you include Opt-out links in every email you send. If needed, we can provide
you with opt-out links and manage the opt-out process in an automated fashion.
Permission Based List Creation: iSendit can
provide professional services to assist you in the creation of permission based
recipient lists.
Automated Virus Scanning: While traversing
through our processing and email sending servers, your emails are scanned several
times for known virus signatures and possible viruses before being sent to your
recipient list.
